The 2025 SVDC Executive Board will be elected by the membership via electronic ballot for a one year term to begin Jan. 1, 2025. The Executive Board includes Club Officers and Members at Large who meet monthly online.
Only current SVDC Members in good standing are eligible to vote, and because online account access is required to vote, the window to apply for membership for voting eligibility closes at 9am on Dec. 28 to allow our volunteers adequate time to prepare for eligibility validation. Registered Democrats may APPLY for membership online and previous members may RENEW - FOR A LIMITED TIME, MEMBERSHIP IS FREE, SO THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE!

For many years she has been involved in helping women succeed in many areas of their lives including Women’s Penitentiaries and WIC (Women in Community). In addition, she has been an activist with voter registration and part of Indivisibles since 2017. Prior to that she phone banked for Obama and other candidates. In addition to her role as System Administrator for SVDC, LezLi is also the Lead Administrator of Action Together Bay Area, a private Facebook group covering the greater San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley with over 14,000 members and hosting the Bay Area Progressive Action Calendar (www.ActionTogetherBayArea.org). Jennie Hutchinson • At Large Board Member ![]() RETURNING AFTER HIATUS - Jennie Hutchinson is a fierce advocate for social justice with a focus on ending gender-based violence. She served as a board member of Women’s Marc h Bay Area, lead organizer of the Silicon Valley March for Science, and led many other protest movements that brought together tens of thousands of people. Jennie co-chaired and ran the field operations for the Committee to Recall Judge Persky, the first judicial recall in California in over 80 years. She co-founded Enough is Enough Voter Project, a political action committee that was dedicated to addressing violence against women through electoral politics. Her efforts have helped pass local gender equity ordinances and initiatives that invest millions of dollars in sexual violence prevention. She also championed AB 17111, a law that closed the spousal rape loophole in California, as well as other major successes both inside and outside of California. Jennie earned her Ph.D. in Biomolecular Engineering by developing novel HIV vaccine candidates. During the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked on the frontlines, partnering with the CDPH Equity Task Force to launch testing and vaccination sites throughout the state in the hardest to reach communities. She is currently a Clinical Genome Scientist where she is working with others to build the most diverse health databases in history as part of the National Institute of Health's All of Us Research Program. She also serves as an officer for the National Women's Political Caucus California.
